Snakes; the most misunderstood creature on this planet

Snakes are the most misunderstood creature on this planet as supposed by the various scholars of Serpentology like Rom & Jay Whitaker, Chris Mattison etc. It is our commonest phenomenon to show a killing attitude for a snake at the first sight of it in our domicile or inhabited arena. I presume this as an obnoxious and obvious outcome of age-old false myths over the snakes, triggered by the ridiculous fictional movies over snakes where a snake can avenge for its mate's killing, can follow a person for mile after mile and can even transmigrate to human being as "ICHHADHARI NAAG". So, on its first look we often misjudge it and try to hurt it or kill it. This filthy practice has led the snakes on the verge of extinction or some of their counterparts in various countries have been defunct. Sometimes, bites of non-venomous snakes are treated as deadly as venomous and the mellower, feeble snake is incinerated alive. What a civilized, modern and educated race we are !!!!!!!!!!!!
Now we have to cogitate over the matter of snakebites. When does a snake bite? The true answer is when it gets frightened, hurt, surprised or apprehends danger, so react exactly the same millions of animals in this world. But, why are the snakes judged as the Death Bearers? Even so many species of spiders can deliver deadly bites when disturbed. So many times kids get bitten by angry dogs while disturbing them. Would we go for mass spider killing or Dog extinction? If not, then why so becomes in the case of snakes? They are not the only venomous creatures , so are thousands of species.
Zoologists say snakes are the feeblest creatures who do not bite voluntarily. On the contrary, they try to avoid human beings or larger animals if contacted. They are not the evil ambassadors but one of our vertebrate counterparts who crave their right to live from us, human beings, the self-chosen master of this world and the deadliest enemy of all the animal race.........
